AI House Davos 2027 runs from 18 to 22 January, according to its home page, and badge applications are open until 4 December. As of 6 November 2026, the same page says the programme is coming soon, and we found no 2027 venue. If you want to attend in person, the useful step this month is to apply for a badge. If you only want the discussion, AI House says every panel is public, and its 2026 agenda links each panel to YouTube. Roundtables on that agenda carry no such link.
What is published for AI House Davos 2027?
We read the AI House pages on 6 November 2026. This is what they say, and what they leave open.

The 2026 edition took three floors at Promenade 67, from 19 to 23 January 2026. That address is a record of last year, not a promise for January, so check before you plan a walking route around it.
AI House was founded in 2023 by the ETH AI Center and Merantix, and the AI House Association leads it. The dates sit alongside the Annual Meeting, which davos.ch lists for the same days.
How do you get into AI House?
There are several routes, and they ask different things of you. AI House issues its own badges, and its pages do not connect them to the Secure Hotel Badge.
| Route | Who it is for | What is published |
|---|---|---|
| Innovator badge | See the badges page linked from the home page | Open until 4 December |
| Local Champion badge | See the badges page linked from the home page | Open until 4 December |
| Media badge | Journalists writing for an editorial outlet, on staff or freelance on assignment | Every session, 18 to 22 January. Apply by 4 December, answers by 10 December |
| Open lounge | Visitors | Open to all visitors in 2026. The 2027 page lists an open lounge, with no hours or location yet |
| Partnership | Organisations that want to help shape the agenda | An enquiry form. No terms are published |
The Media badge takes about a minute: your name and your work email at the outlet. AI House says it checks every application by hand and uses the work address to do so, so apply from the address at the outlet you write for.
The 2027 page says places in every session are curated, so plan on a selection, not a simple sign-up. The pages we could read do not explain how that works, how many people a session holds, or whether a fee applies to any badge. Check the badges page for those details. Demand has been high: the past editions page records more than 11k event registrations in 2025. The home page gives 66k session applications for 2026. Do not build your week around a single session.
Do you need an official badge for AI House?
No AI House page we read says so either way. Our guide to what is open without a badge explains how the wider system worked last January, and we found no 2027 security zones as of 6 November 2026.
If your week also includes meetings inside the secure zone around the hotels, look at the Secure Hotel Badge as well. As a designated Single Point of Contact, we submit and manage Secure Hotel Badge applications for clients. Final approval rests with the Cantonal Police of Graubünden, and the badge does not guarantee entry to any event.
What should a first-time attendee do, and when?
| When | What to do |
|---|---|
| This month | Open the badges page and apply if you fit. The deadline is 4 December |
| By 10 December | Journalists should have an answer on the Media badge |
| When the programme appears | Choose two or three sessions you care about, and find out how places are allocated |
| When the venue appears | Check the walk from where you are staying, and allow for security checks |
| During the week | If you cannot get a place, check whether the panel is streamed, as the 2026 panels were |
A sensible plan treats AI House as one part of the week rather than all of it. Ask what you want from the session before you ask how to get in: a speaker, a contact or simply the argument. A speaker can often be reached elsewhere in the week, and the argument may be on YouTube.
